Shipping & Returns
Please be sure your address is correct when completing your order. Contact us immediately if you've noticed an error.
As all of our waistbeads are handmade to order and custom-fit, please generally allow up to 14 business days (or about 3 calendar weeks) for us to create your works of art. While processing time could be as little as 1-3 business days and most orders are shipped within the first week or two, the 3-week policy is in effect during our busiest seasons and could be extended during holiday and sale periods. Since all orders are custom-made to order, orders cannot be canceled or refunded once the order has been submitted.
We use USPS for all orders. Shipping costs are listed with each item and are combined for multiple item purchases. The price includes delivery confirmation for domestic orders and a minimal amount for packaging and fees.
First Class domestic mail generally arrives in three to five business days after package has been shipped but, as a general rule, please allow the post office up to a week. To upgrade to Priority Mail, which generally arrives in two to three days, please contact us before or immediately after making your purchase.
Please allow up to one full month total time (processing time and shipping time combined) to receive a package within the United States under normal circumstances. In most instances, packages are received much sooner; sometimes orders may be received in as little as a week after order placement. The full month allowance gives us the necessary time we need in busy seasons to create a quality product for all of our customers. Delivery time could be extended beyond this time frame during heavy reduced price sale periods but it is unusual for delivery time to exceed six weeks within the United States. Customers outside of the United States should allow up to 10 weeks for packages to be received. Please contact us immediately if you haven’t received your order within this time frame so we can ship a replacement as per policy.
In the event that a package is lost in the mail after we ship the package (the customer has not received the merchandise AND delivery confirmation has not been provided with the tracking updates), we will work with the USPS to locate the package to ensure delivery. Our policy is to replace the customer's merchandise if the USPS is not successful in locating the lost package. In the event that merchandise needs to replace, all items must be duplicated as stated in the original order (duplication of style and size as stated in original order). Orders cannot be refunded but they will be replaced. We guarantee delivery of purchased merchandise.
Orders are typically sent via First Class International Mail. This is the most economical method, but please contact us to request FedEx or UPS Air Mail.
First Class Mail tracking through USPS is now provided for packages destined for the following countries: Canada, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Croatia, Denmark, France, Germany, Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Israel, Netherlands, New Zealand, Spain, and Switzerland.
International First Class Mail, depending on where you're located, can take two to four weeks to arrive. Mail can sometimes get delayed in customs.
Please contact us to upgrade to International Priority Mail, which typically arrives in six to ten business days (for most countries) and includes insurance.
Returns & Exchanges
All Royal Waistbeads are custom-made to size and are personal in nature; therefore, we are unable to offer refunds or exchanges once your item has been made. However, we will work with you to provide size adjustments as necessary.
We will make your waistbeads according to the length specified in your original order or a new size if you notify us as soon as possible, before we have begun making your waistbeads. We ask that you measure yourself carefully in the position of your midsection where you want your waistbeads to hang before placing your order as a fee will apply to resize your waistbeads once the order is completed. When measuring yourself, the tape measure should be snug but not too tight.
Orders cannot be canceled or refunded once the order has been submitted.
If you find that you need a different size after you have received your order, a small fee will apply to cover labor, return postage, and the price difference for the new size if it is larger. The fee will be communicated on a case-by-case basis, as it depends on the materials of your specific piece(s). Some size adjustments can be made quickly while others require that all the beads be re-threaded on a new strand.
One of a Kind Items
Because all items are handmade and custom made to fit, no two items are exactly alike. While we ALWAYS maintain the integrity of the original design, there may be slight variations in the design to accommodate the length and/or supplies on hand. For example, if you are ordering the Queen and Kings I, your design may contain a shorter or longer length of solid black beads in between the color mix section of beads to accommodate your specific size. In addition, the pattern of the color mix in example style is random so no two waistbeads will have the exact same order of colors in the mixed bead lines. Likewise, if your waistbeads contain gemstones or metal accent beads, it is possible that the metal or gemstone piece may take on a varying shape based on supplies but the integrity of the design will remain and value of the item will be consistent or higher than the photographed sample.
